Our Background

The company was founded in Hong Kong in September 2005 by Tim Murphy, a finance-industry veteran who has been investing in property since he was in his 20s. IP Global has completed on transactions worth more than US$900 million on behalf of our clients.

IP Global has built up a multinational team of experts from the financial-services and property industries. They draw on experience gained at companies such as Barclays Bank, Coutts Bank, Dah Sing Bank, Knight Frank, CBRE and Prudential.

IP Global is the core property-advisory company, helping our clients select property around the world. Based on a one-on-one consultation, IP Global reviews the investment objectives of its clients, and then helps them build the appropriate property portfolio, based on their risk tolerance and investment profile. There is no fee charged for this advice. 

The company provides extensive market research and analysis, and conducts due diligence on individual developments and developers. Its on-the-ground network in each market helps IP Global identify appropriate service providers such as lawyers and brokers to make sure each deal is handled as smoothly and efficiently.
